To welcome 2021 on a positive note, Opera Gallery proudly presents
On the Bright Side. This
online exhibition brings together decades-spanning artworks by iconic Post-War, Pop Art and
today's
leading Contemporary artists, united by their power to inspire, uplift and bring joy. From the
whimsical and colourful sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle to the cartoonish characters by Keith
Haring, Kenny Scharf or Kaws; from the dynamism and vibrancy of A.R. Penck's musicians to the
unbridled celebration by Robert Combas; from Yue Min Jun's laughter to the carefree pin-ups of
Ellen von Unwerth. These works all bring a smile to our lips and create a positive atmosphere in
a world in need of it. Featured artists also include Alexander Calder, Jean Dubuffet, Alex Katz,
Mel Bochner, Tracey Emin, Kehinde Wiley, Julian Opie and Fred Eerdekens.
