André Brasilier Brings His Poetic Vision to Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping 2026

03 June 2026

French painter André Brasilier, represented by Opera Gallery, brings his poetic universe to the official poster of the 2026 Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping. Unveiled for the twelfth edition of the equestrian event, the work continues the competition’s tradition of inviting major contemporary artists to shape its visual identity, reinforcing the dialogue between sport, art and Parisian heritage.

Set against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, Brasilier’s composition captures the elegance and movement of the horse with the lyrical sensitivity that has defined his practice for more than six decades. Known for his dreamlike landscapes, luminous colour palette and refined equestrian scenes, the artist transforms the energy of show jumping into a vision that is both dynamic and serene. Reflecting on the commission, Brasilier explained: “I immediately saw a horse and the Eiffel Tower… an elevation that carries you.”

The poster embodies the spirit of the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping: a celebration of excellence, emotion and French art de vivre at the heart of Paris. Horses appear almost ethereal in Brasilier’s interpretation—“comparable to angels or birds”—reinforcing the artist’s longstanding fascination with harmony, freedom and movement.
