KAWS

18 December - 15 January 2026

KAWS is known for bridging the worlds of fine art, street art, and popular culture. From the streets of New York to international museums and public spaces, KAWS has developed a bold visual language that speaks across disciplines and audiences. His work, ranging from monumental sculptures and vibrant paintings, to editions and design objects, redefines how visual culture is experienced in the 21st century.

This exhibition showcases a curated selection of KAWS’s most iconic works. Highlights include The Companion (Black Colorway) (2010), a sculpture that transforms a familiar childhood figure, in this instance Mickey Mouse, into a symbol of vulnerability and emotion. Paintings such as Joe KAWS (2015), Response Ability (2018), and Chum (KCC5) (2016) reveal his signature blend of abstraction, saturated color, and cartoon-inspired imagery. The exhibition also features works on paper from The News series and design objects like Seeing Black (BFF Lamp) (2020), underscoring KAWS’s ability to move between media.

At the heart of KAWS’s art are recurring motifs—vivid hues, bold outlines, and his instantly recognizable crossed-out eyes. These elements create works that are at once playful and somber.

By transforming the visual language of mass media into powerful symbols of human experience, KAWS continues to shape the global landscape of contemporary art. His work resonates with audiences worldwide, making him a defining figure in 21st century visual culture.
