Teacher at the Seamann´s school in Akureyri 1969-1974. Teacher at the Engineerings Seamanns´school in Akureyri 1969-1986. Cashier at the Postoffice in Akureyri 1974-1980. Owner and running the Gallery Háhóll, Akureyri 1982-1985. Editor of "Öldurót", the Seamanns newspaper, Akureyri. 1987-1989. Seaman on the trawler "Kaldbak EA", Akureyri 1989-1991. Journalist at the newspaper "Dagur", Akureyri 1991-1993.
