Yigal Ozeri is a painter born in 1958 in Israel. He graduated from the Sacramento State College and the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, USA. He currently lives and works in New York

Yigal Ozeri is best known for his photorealistic renderings of young women amidst natural settings, such as rainforests and deserts. He takes his own digital photographs, later editing them in Photoshop and printing them out to use as reference material for his highly detailed oil paintings. His work tends to have a subtle tone of allegory and fantasy, while simultaneously being incredibly realistic and almost indistinguishable from a photograph.

Yigal Ozeri has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions worldwide. His work is featured on the cover, and included in the book Photorealism and the Digital Age (2013). It is also in the permanent collections of: The Whitney Museum of American Art, The McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, The Jewish Museum in New York, The New York Public Library, The Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and the Albertina in Vienna, among others.
