Taikkun Li
LI, TAIKKUN (YANG LI)
Born in 1981 Guangzhou, China to a family of distinguished connoisseurs. He was surrounded by classic Chinese painting when he was young. He was trained at the at the High School of National Academy of Fine Arts, Hangzhou, China and was graduated from the sculpture department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China. Now he specialized in religious discussion in interdisciplinary art, particularly of the sculpture and experimental film, emphasizing meditation experience in visual world.
2007 His film “Lost Dream of Beijing” was selected by Washington DC Independent Film Festival and San Francisco Tiburon International Film Festival
2006 He was invited to join the first session of Fengliang International Art Exhibition on Peace, embassy of Congo Replublic, Beijing
2005 He was invited by UNESCO as sculptor & independent filmmaker to design the multimedia installation work “Borderline”
