TRIVES Thierry
Thierry Trivès, a self-taught artist born in 1966 at “Marseille” and nicknamed “T.T.,” takes refuge in his nightmares and his Spanish roots to carve his thoughts onto canvas with a knife, like a surgeon with a scalpel. Emerging from a childhood in which he sought to find himself, he took solitary solace in writing, drawing, and composing music. Thierry Trivès denounces injustice and, in some of his works, asserts himself with great sensitivity, taking a stand on the fight for “respect for women and children” .His work in a research and investigation unit in the south of France means he must constantly close his eyes to the horror of violent death before him on a daily basis, as he has for more than twenty years. Each painting is a different scream, a dream... like one of no longer being able to hear a crying child...
Since 2006, he has created 3 distinct sets, and he quickly drew the attention art collectors, an art expert and galleries. His work is rapidly evolving. "T.T" is one of the many atypical cotemporary artists overwhelmed with emotion, whose paintings leave no one indifferent. " I put my emotions into color, I push the limits of my art. I don't know where I will stop, I have so many things to express". We are at the beginning of a great career.
