KRIKI
KRIKI was born in 1965 at Issy-Les-Moulineaux, France He is currently living and working in Paris. Passionate by art and music, Kriki set up in 1984 a group of painters called “Nuklé Art” and a musical one, called “les Envahisseurs”. As a musician, Kriki and his group recorded tapes and CDs from 1984 to 1993. Since 1987, kriki was represented at various art fairs and biennale like the FIAC, the Salon International d’Art Contemporain de Strasbourg, S.I.A.C, and the Foire Art Paris, Carrousel du Louvre. He participated to numerous personal and collective exhibitions all over the world. In 1992, the museum of modern art of Paris purchased one of his artwork. The same year, Kriki created a virtual project that was purchased by Canal+. In 1994, a Japanese TV channel, the Fuji Television in Tokyo, produced a documentary on Kriki’s work. In 1997, the well-known luxury house Louis Vuitton asked Kriki to create the FUZZ robot. More recently, in 2003, Kriki created the poster for the ballet “Le Lac des Cygnes” for the opening of the Opera of Zagreb. Kriki is currently represented by Opera Gallery.
