His mostly large framed paintings in oil, acrylics and mixed techniques are inspired
of the surrealism with influences of PopArt, in its contents critical and polarizing.
– Bioraphy:
Stelio Diamantopoulos born 1967 in Basel, Switzerland,
son of a greek Father and a swiss mother.
He grew up in Switzerland.
1978-1985 Drawings evolve in surrealistic and phantastic style.
1985 First paintings on canvas evolve. Art school in Basel,
Switzerland.
1986 First Exhibition in Witterswil, Switzerland.
1986-1990 Training to become a graphic designer in Basel.
since 1990 Diamantopoulos works as a independent artist and graphic
designer.
